A hot tub that fits your home and the people who will use it.

We select the hot tub or swim spa based on the number of users, location and intended use. We deliver it, install it on your terrace or embed it, connect the electricity with an inspection and provide training. One team handles everything from surveying to your first dip, across the whole of ČR.

Free survey. We will arrive to measure the site and access route.

Acrylic outdoor hot tub on a covered terrace of a detached house

Three ways to have hot water outdoors at home

We do not sell a single brand. We select from manufacturers based on your needs: how many people, the location, and whether you want to swim or just sit in the bubbles.

All about in-ground installation

What does "bespoke and turnkey" mean?

A hot tub is not an appliance you simply unpack. It is a two-tonne bath that requires space, electricity, water and someone to get it over the fence. All of this is part of the job.

Selection according to your preference

Number of seats and loungers, height of users, frequency of use. This determines the size, pump capacity and filtration type. Not a catalogue, but a recommendation.

Delivery and installation

We will assess access: gate, driveway, steps, slope. Where a pallet truck is insufficient, we will arrange a crane or telehandler. We will position, level and fill the unit.

Electrical work and inspections

Separate circuit 400 V or 230 V with circuit breaker and residual current device, cable to the equipment, connection and inspection report. Carried out by an electrician with authorisation.

Base and terrace

Concrete slab, paving on gravel or reinforced terrace. We will advise on what your site can support and prepare it, or coordinate with your construction team if needed.

Canopy and privacy

Pergola, gazebo or retractable roof so the hot tub can be used in rain and neighbours cannot see in. We will design what suits your house.

Training and maintenance

Chemicals, filtration, winterisation. We will teach you everything upon handover and provide ongoing service including filter and cover replacement.

How much space a hot tub requires

Select the number of persons and you will see an approximate shell layout, service clearance, and the side where the equipment with cable supply is usually located. Exact dimensions vary by model; this is a framework for an initial idea.

Hot tub for 4 people
Shell
approx. 200 x 200 cm
With clearance for servicing
approx. 270 x 270 cm
Weight with water and people
approx. 1 800 to 2 200 kg
Electrical
400 V, separate circuit

Fits on a standard terrace with access to the equipment from one side.

What needs to be prepared

  • Level and load-bearing base: concrete slab or paving on compacted gravel; for terraces, an assessment of load-bearing capacity is required.
  • Independent electrical circuit 400 V (230 V for smaller models) with circuit breaker and residual current device, terminated at the equipment location.
  • Water supply for filling and a location to drain water during replacement.
  • Access route for delivery: gate width, passage height, and if necessary, space for a crane.

You do not need to handle any of this yourself. During the free survey we will inspect the site and specify what we will arrange and what your construction team may need to handle. Details in the section Installation and electrical work.

Man in an outdoor hot tub in winter, surrounded by snow and a wooden house

Hot tub that works even in January

The greatest pleasure from a hot tub comes when it is below zero outside. All-year-round models feature an insulated shell, a foam thermal cover and heating that maintains temperature with minimal loss. For winter, you need a good cover, a reliable electrical supply and filtration set so the water does not freeze even during a power outage.

If you do not wish to use the hot tub over winter, we will winterise it: drain it, blow out the pipework and cover it. In spring we restart it. Details in the section hot tub servicing.

Questions we are asked

What electricity does a hot tub require?

Most year-round hot tubs connect to 400 V on a separate circuit with its own circuit breaker and residual current device. Smaller models run on 230 V, but heating is then slower. The connection is made by an authorised electrician and ends with an inspection report. We arrange this as part of the installation.

What base material is required under a hot tub?

Level, solid and drained. A filled hot tub with people weighs over two tonnes, so usually a concrete slab or paving on compacted gravel. For a terrace we will assess the load-bearing capacity of the structure; for an in-ground installation we will prepare a shaft with access to the equipment.

Do I need a building permit for my hot tub?

A freestanding hot tub on a terrace is generally not considered a building and does not require permission. An in-ground hot tub or a roof structure are assessed under the Building Act as minor constructions, usually without permission, provided the setback from the property boundary is maintained. We will verify this for you at the specific location.

Can a hot tub be used in winter too?

Yes, year-round acrylic hot tubs with insulated shells and thermal covers are designed for winter conditions. Operation in freezing temperatures is standard; a high-quality cover and uninterrupted power supply are essential.

Hot tub or swimming pool?

A hot tub is for relaxation for two to six people all year round; a swim spa also allows swimming against the current. If your main goal is swimming and you have the space, a pool makes sense. We handle that on our website. novybazen.cz.

How long does delivery and installation take?

Warehouse models are usually available within a few weeks; custom-made hot tubs depend on the manufacturer. The team can complete installation, connection and training in one day, provided that the construction and electrical preparations are ready.

State how many people will be using it and where you want it installed.

Just a few details are needed. We will contact you within 24 hours to discuss the location and arrange a free survey. No obligation.
